Event - Christmas at Redmile

December 2011

On Friday December 16th we had our Christmas dinner in the Sports Hall. It was a very festive lunch with Crackers complete with silly jokes and Christmas hats.

On Monday and Tuesday we performed 'The Stars come out for Christmas'. They certainly did as the children shone from beginning to end.

In an adaptation of the musical by Andrew Oxbridge we saw Christmas Cards, Winter Wonders, Boogie Woogies, Christmas Trees, Rockin' Rollers, Strictly Dancers, Diners and The Nativity all vying for first place in the Christmas Award Ceremony.

Crackers were presented to everyone with the 'Giant Cracker Award going to the Nativity on Monday and Boogie Woogie Santa and Christmas Dinner were joint first on Tuesday!

On Thursday morning Robin from Footprints Theatre performed 'The Bread Baby', a Christmas story from Malta.

In the afternoon we had a very special visitor... Father Christmas arrived with a gift for everyone.

Have a very Merry Christmas and a happy New Year!
