Event - Children In Need: Spots, Shoeboxes and Planets

22 November 2011

On Tuesday November 22nd we had a very busy day at Redmile. It was our Comic Relief Day and we had to come in non-uniform with a pink spotty theme.

We raised £126.10 which will be divided between Children in Need and Breast Cancer Research.

We also had a visit from the mobile Planetarium. Mick Morton, from StarLincs, spent time with all the classes telling us all about Planets and the sky at night. We will all be looking at the night sky to see which constellations we can identify.

In the morning representatives from the 'Operation Christmas Child' came to collect the 30 boxes donated. Thank you to everyone who sent in a shoebox.
