Welcome to Class 3.
Welcome to Class 3.
This is our Upper Key Stage 2 class, where you will meet our wonderful children in Years 5 and 6.
In Class 3, our young people develop as individuals, complete with their own sets of unique talents, interests and personalities. Not only do we build upon children’s academic successes, we also provide endless opportunities for children to develop their independence, confidence and responsibility. We centralise our classroom around an aura of perseverance, respect, teamwork and trust so that our class is a happy, fun and safe environment, allowing all children to thrive.
As the oldest children in the school, we are often given the privilege of representing our school in tournaments and performances around the Vale (and beyond!). Please have a look at our curriculum pages to find out more about these. Everybody in Class 3 really does shine with their unique set of talents and strengths, and we are so very proud of each and every one of them!
We have various opportunities throughout the year to work with visitors to further develop our learning, including our residential trip to Kingswood and our Y6 visit to Leicester’s Warning Zone.
In Class 3, as we prepare our young individuals for the next stages of their journey, we endeavour to develop skills and knowledge, whilst creating memories which will guide and support them through life.
