Event - Wear It Pink Day

3 November 2010

On Wednesday 3rd November the school turned pink! We all came to school dressed in pink to raise money for Breast Cancer Research.

The School Council organised lots of fun things for us to do in the afternoon. In Class 3 we made necklaces and bracelets from pink pasta and decorated some biscuits with pink icing and and pink sweets! In Class 2 we had a pink quiz and made a pink outfit for a character. In Class 1 we made some pink firework paintings and there was pink goo and pink playdough to play with.

Parents came in the afternoon and the School Council served them Coffee and tea and sold some of the biscuits we iced earlier.

The best thing was we raised lots of money for the charity. So a huge 'thank you' to everyone who helped make it a Special Day!
