Event - A Blast From the Past

26 November 2014

As part of our end of topic ,’A Blast from the Past’, on Wednesday 26th November, we all dressed up as people from World War 1 and 2. We held an ‘End of War’ celebration including a VE day street party with jelly!

During our Special Assembly on Friday morning parents were able to see all the hard work we have been doing over the term.

Class 1 had made some amazing poppies using clay and other materials. Class 2 had produced some excellent poems and writing. Some children had also made some very authentic Anderson Shelters. In Class 3 we made 3D models of the trenches,WW1 board games, posters to encourage people to join up and some clay models of the brave animals involved in the war.

It has been a very busy term with some great work produced from all the classes. Well done everyone.
