Special Event - The Queen’s Birthday

10 June 2016

On Friday 10th of June we joined in with the celebrations for the Queen’s 90th birthday.

Everyone went down to St. Peter’s Church first thing to take part in a special service. We were able to show parents all the things we made during the week. Bunting, stamps, crowns and Year 6 shared some lovely memories of the Queens life. Lots of parents joined us.

We returned to school and as the weather forecast was not too good we held a, ‘Street Party’ in the Sports hall. Some children had created some fabulous cakes for our, ’Bake a Cake for the Queen Competition.’

Party clothes in red, white and blue were worn as we tucked into a feast.

Thank you for all the wonderful donations.
