Event - Puppet Workshop

5 February 2014

On Wednesday David Watterson, from D.& S. Enterprises visited us to deliver a Multi Cultural Puppet Workshop.

After a whole school assembly, where we met a very naughty puppet called Gus, each class had an individual session before all meeting up again at the end of the day. In Class 3 we were taught how to be a ventriloquist.

David then told us a story from Africa called, 'The Mumbo Umbongo Tree' which we then performed using an assortment of puppets.

In Class 2 we retold the story of 'The Pied Piper' using an assortment of puppets. We all had a chance to meet a puppet from around the world.

In Class 1 we heard the story of, 'The Indian Zoo'. It was a really enjoyable day.
