Event - Visit from Leicestershire Police

3 February 2016

On Wednesday 3rd February Years 3 to 6 were visited by the Leicestershire Police.

As part of the P.R.O.T.E.C.T (Police, Reducing, Our, Threat, Educating, Children, Together) programme, PC Ian Parry talked to Years 3, 4, 5 and 6. We discussed a variety of issues including what to do if we saw an accident and what is meant by Anti-Social Behaviour. The children were very knowledgeable. Everyone knew to dial 999 or 101 in an emergency and what information would be required by the operator.

At the end of a very informative and enjoyable day we were presented with a certificate for taking part in the workshop.
