Event - Harvest Festival

22 September 2015

On Tuesday September 22nd we all went down to St. Peters Church to celebrate our Harvest Festival. We began with a welcome from Mrs Hopkins followed by an introduction by Year 6. Class 1 treated us to ‘Out in the garden’, which featured lots of vegetables and a happy farmer.

Class 2 told us all about ‘The Enormous Turnip’ and how important it is for us all to work together. We found out about, ’Harvest around the World’ from Class 3. Our choir sang ‘Turn Back the Clocks’ and Mrs. Wells ended the service with a Blessing. As always we were overwhelmed by the generous gifts of all sorts of produce.

Mrs. Hopkins and some Year 6 children delivered it all to Dove Cottage where it was gratefully received. A huge ‘Thank you’ to everyone.
