Event - Pre-Easter Trips

April 2009

On Wednesday 1st April Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 went on a trip to Leicester Cathedral.

On Thursday 2nd of April Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 went to Leicester. We visted a Hindu Temple in the morning had our lunch and then went to a Sikh Temple in the afternoon. We were made very welcome by the people there. We had to take our shoes off and wash our hands. In the Sikh Temple we also had to cover our heads as a mark of respect.

Kind people gave us fruit and sweets - the sweets tasted very different!
