Event - Assembly at the End of Easter Term

15 April 2011

On the last day of term lots of parents joined us for a Special Assembly.

Class 3 told us all about their topic - Space. We heard entries from the Diary of Neil Armstrong in the run up to the Apollo 11 journey to the Moon. To remember the planet names some mnemonics methods were used, for example 'My Very Educated Manky Junior Sister Uses Nappy Pins'. The Class had created some new planets including one made of chocolate. Yum!

We also said 'goodbye' to Miss Doyle and will welcome her back as Mrs Copeland when she returns after Easter. In the morning we had a rehearsal for her big day.
