Event - Big Dance 2012

18 May 2012

On Friday May 18th the whole school took part in the Big Dance 2012 which was a world record attempt at the 'Largest Dance Routine-Multi Venue'. Everyone wore Olympic colours and performed the dance in front of parents and two special adjudicators.

The dance, which was specially created by Wayne MacGregor, began promptly at 1pm. As soon as we had finished a special text had to be sent to the organisers. Each part of the routine represented a different event in the Olympics.

A huge 'thank you' to Cheryl, our Chair of Governors, who had to learn the dance and then teach it the whole school.

Well done to everyone who took part. If we are successful 'The Guinness Book of Records' will be on everyone's Christmas list this year.
