Event - A Visit to Belvoir Estate

26 June 2013

On Wednesday 26th June Years 2 to 6 visited Belvoir Cricket Ground in Knipton.

In the morning we had great fun playing lots of cricket activities. After a picnic lunch we learned all about the work of a Gamekeeper and watched a display from some very clever gun dogs. We also met Persil, a barn owl who lives at Belvoir Castle and had a walk through the woods to see where the new trout lake will be.

We were very lucky with the weather and had a lovely day.

Over arm bowling.
Chasing the ball.

Learning the rules.

To me...!

Persil, the barn owl.
She was very light.

A talk from the Gamekeeper.
This came from a Scottish stag.
